1975 Bach Mercedes Cornet

This is a 1975 Bach Mercedes Cornet in overall very good condition. For the year, the visible wear is very limited only showing typical use wear and minor scratches, but it retains almost all of its original lacquer.

This is a beautifully playing warm sounding cornet with great valve feel and clean functional slides and innards. It is very evident this instrument was well taken care of throughout the course of its lifetime. To seal the deal, it still comes with the original 1975 case as well. The case is in need of a latch repair however, but closes with one latch.

Included with this iconic cornet is also a 7C mouthpiece, and a straight, cup, and plunger mute. The mutes need some work as well, dent work and a re-cork. Also comes with piston oil.

This is a great vintage pick offered at great value, it is a perfectly functional instrument that comes with accessories which with a little investment could be just as good as the horn itself!
