This is an extremely ornate and elaborately designed gorgeous Stelling Golden Cross 5 String Banjo in very good condition awaiting its next home.

This is a one of a kind custom manufactured banjo, handcrafted in 1998 by Geoff Stelling in Virginia. Its intricate and almost over the top engravings and designs immediately captivate the eye the second it enters the room, this high quality banjo is no joke for a pro player.

Despite its age and use, it has minimal fret-wear. The banjo has been serviced through our WindWorks shop and is freshly strung and set up, ready to play.

The fingerboard is gorgeous, made of Ebony. It has a maple wood neck and resonator, gold plated hardware, and a copperman rim.

Near every specialty feature you could ask for on a custom banjo is executed impeccably by the craftsman (Stelling) behind this banjo.

This Banjo would make a superb forever banjo, a talking piece for generations, and a true trophy for the esteemed banjo player. It includes the original Stelling case as well, which together with the banjo makes a truly hefty thing to lug around. Together the case and banjo weigh roughly 23 pounds, thanks to the high quality woods, gold plating, and materials.
