King 1122 Marching French Horn

Surely we must be dreaming to have the brass fantasy of a King Marching French Horn offered at such a price point!? But alas, this is reality. This King 1122 Marching French Horn is a good playing, looking, and feeling instrument, and has that wow factor being different from its similarly shaped cousins like the mellophone and marching baritone.

It offeres that melodic beautiful tone that you get from a concert french horn, with the power and portability of a marching band horn. Its extra wide bell helps this instrument project like nobodys business.     

We gave this horn a full ultrasonic cleaning as it came into our shop, and there are a few things to note that we noticed, particularly the beginnings of red-rot in the main tuning slide. The horn is gorgeous, but not cosmetically perfect either, as there are a few small dents and dings throughout.

For the collector, passion player, or drum corps in a pinch, this marching french horn could be a great value pick, but likely not suitable as a long term professional pick.
