1950's Martin "A" Style Mandolin

This is a Vintage "A" style Martin Mandolin, dating to 1950! Yet despite its age, it is holding up cosmetically and functionally, but providing that vintage sound we all love. It has clearly been well maintained over its lifespan, and has recently been professionally setup by a external string workshop.

There are minor blemishes and scratches cosmetically as could be expected from a vintage string instrument, but the resonance on this instrument is near unmatched. It features a uniquely curved body and flat back which enhances both projection and richness of the sound. The bridge is not an adjustable bridge, but is currently perfectly setup for the instrument.

This mandolin is the ultimate folk or bluegrass instrument, with a unique, vintage appearance and a gorgeous sound quality, any string connosieur knows old Martin's are sought after for their quality and endurance over time. This would make the perfect addition for any collector, or a forever instrument for a string player who enjoys what we would call "the classics".
