This Wessex HB24 BBb Helicon is in great shape all around and is ready to conquer. The Helicon is a historically significant instrument which was fundamental to the later development of the sousaphone, and this HB24 offers modern quality and feel with the traditional sound and experience of the Helicon.

The forward facing bell is excellent for projecting sound outward, and plays a distinclty low but cutting tone to get through a band. For these reasons coupled with its mobile design, the helicon was widely used in military and marching bands leading up to the sousaphone.
