Selmer Paris Super Balanced Action Alto Saxophone - 1947

This is a 1947 Selmer Paris Super Balanced Action alto saxophone in fantastic condition.

The original lacquer is gorgeous, showing only light scratching and minor wear on the inner side of the lower body tube and bow.

This horn has received a full mechanical overhaul in our in-house repair shop, including full disassembly and cleaning, refitting of keywork, and all new adjustment materials and Pisoni Pro pads with domed plastic resonators. Subsequently, it plays like a dream. The response is phenomenal and well-balanced across the range. The tone is simply incredible, with a rich warmth and full resonance that makes it easy to fill a room even at the softest dynamics.
