This is a 1956 Martin Committee III baritone saxophone, commonly referred to as "The Martin".
This relacquered horn is in excellent condition, and has had a Playing Condition service in our in-house repair shop.
With a keyed range of Low Bb to High F, thick soldered toneholes, and black roo pads with domed metal resonators, this saxophone is a delight to play. There's nothing quite like the thick, rich, warmth of the Committee III baris, and this beautiful example is ready to play. It has great response throughout the range, and wonderfully colorful projection.
Though the Committee III baris lack a side F# key, they have some of the best ergonomics of the vintage american horns.
Includes non-original case.
