This is a 1953 Selmer Super Balanced Action alto saxophone in fantastic condition.
It plays beautifully, with a warm, lush tone with the depth and complexity for which the Super Balanced Action saxophones are renowned. It plays easily from bottom to top with great response and incredible resonance.
The action is quick and smooth, having had a Clean, Oil, and Adjust service in our in-house repair shop. The tan leather pads with star metal resonators are in great shape with plenty of life left, and the body and original lacquer are in excellent condition.
Includes non-original hard case.
