Yamaha YTS-62S Tenor Saxophone - Purple Logo Era, Silver Plated

This is a vintage Yamaha YTS-62S tenor saxophone from the purple logo era, widely considered the best of the vintage Yamaha saxophones. It is in immaculate silver plate in incredible condition. The silver plated instruments had an embossed logo rather than the purple silkscreen logo from the same vintage.

It is in fantastic playing condition with tan leather pads and domed plastic resonators. We've given this horn a Clean, Oil, and Adjust service in our in-house repair shop, including replacement of adjustment materials, felts, and corks. The action is smooth and balanced, and the response is superb with great intonation.
