Selmer Paris Super Balanced Action Tenor Saxophone - 1953, High F#

This is a 1953 Selmer Super Balanced Action tenor saxophone, formerly owned by saxophonist Bill Green. It shows some wear, and may be an old Selmer factory relacquer, but this is without a doubt or exaggeration the best playing Super Balanced Action tenor we've ever had come through our shop.

The response is incredible, and the sound is rich and complex, able to fill a room even at its softest dynamic levels. It looks to have had some body repair, but is mechanically fantastic. The action is quick and smooth, and the pads are in great shape. It has received a Clean, Oil, and Adjust service in our repair shop.
